These are the images from my second trip to Hungary to photograph the birds in the Hortobagy area. Although the same week and similar weather to my 2013 visit, it was a very different trip in terms of the birds seen and the opportunities which presented themselves (and not always taken advantage of .. but then I'l just have to go back !). In 2013 I managed to avoid every chance to photograph a spoonbill .. this year they were everywhere!
