Images from an outstanding trip to Finland and Norway organised via Shetland Wildlife and Finnature. I had a couple of days in Kaamanen, Batsfjord and Vardo with great opportunities for pine grosbeak, Siberian jay, Siberian tit in Finland and with sea ducks and purple sandpipers in Norway. Conditions were great with plenty of snow, although with one night getting down to -38C it was a little cool at times .. One image of the northern lights crept in here too ..
